About the Progress Pathways Team

Our Guiding Principles

Every child has unique abilities. What’s easy for one may feel impossible for another. Without the right support, these differences can turn into struggles. As children grow, this can lead to disconnection and disadvantage.

At Progress Pathways, our team of child development experts, including Occupational Therapists and Speech Sathologists, work together to give every child the tailored support they deserve. We help kids make the progress that truly matters so that children of all abilities can thrive.

Our team operates by a set of Guiding Principles which we recognise, celebrate and build upon in our day-to-day work.

Our Guiding Principles include our "Critical Actions" - the actions you will see us taking every day, and our "Key Characteristics" - the characteristics we are building every day.

"Critical Actions"

These are the things you will see us doing every day at Progress Pathways.

  • We Are Prepared
Because we are prepared, we are ready to offer personalised support for every child. We value our time together, so we are ready to make the most of each client session and team meeting. We submit reports on time and keep detailed, clear notes to collaborate on the care of our clients seamlessly.
  • We Pitch In
We are a team that steps in to help when we see a need. We collaborate to provide the best care, knowing it helps children thrive. Even during challenging times, we look for ways to contribute to the team’s efficiency and success.
  • We Make Progress
We value progress over perfection. We track and celebrate every child’s progress. We find new ways to improve our practice, becoming more efficient and innovative in solving challenges.

"Key Characteristics"

We are actively developing these characteristics every day at Progress Pathways.

  • Intelligent Communication
We actively work on our communication to understand the needs of the families we support. We build our communication skills to build strong relationships with children, their carers and each other. We collaborate as a team to deliver the best care for every child.
  • Playfulness
Play is how kids learn and grow. A playful approach helps children achieve meaningful progress and keeps our work enjoyable.
  • Dedication
We are dedicated to showing up as our best selves. We are dedicated to being life-long learners and continuing to ask questions. We are dedicated to prioritising our own well-being to remain reliable for our children and our team.

Meet our team.

We celebrate our team members, and their tenure on our team!

Get to know them, and how they are supporting families across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
