About Bethany

Bethany Monteath is a compassionate and skilled paediatric speech pathologist who works with children and families in our Burleigh Heads clinic on the Gold Coast. She is passionate about helping children develop clear, confident communication skills, whether through supporting speech clarity, building early language foundations, or reducing the impact of stuttering.

Her background in linguistics and clinical experience across community, home, and school settings gives her a strong foundation in the science of speech and language. This allows her to deliver evidence-based therapy that is not only effective but also engaging and meaningful for each child.

Bethany values collaboration and often works alongside occupational therapists and other professionals to provide holistic, family-centred care. She believes therapy should be enjoyable and functional, empowering children to participate more fully in their everyday environments—at home, in school, and in play.
