About Sarah

Sarah Seeberg is a warm, thoughtful, and energetic paediatric occupational therapist who is passionate about helping children participate fully in the activities that matter most to them. Originally from Germany, Sarah discovered her love for paediatric therapy during her time working as an au pair in Australia, which led her to pursue occupational therapy qualifications across both Europe and Australia. She now brings over five years of combined Australian and international experience to our Burleigh Heads clinic, supporting children with a wide range of developmental needs.

Sarah has worked in private clinics, community services, schools, and daycares, giving her a rich understanding of how children function across different environments. Whether she is supporting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, Global Developmental Delay, or sensory processing challenges, Sarah brings a calm, collaborative, and strengths-focused approach to therapy. She values working closely with parents, offering practical strategies that families can use at home, at school, and in everyday routines.

Movement and play are central to Sarah’s therapy style. She enjoys incorporating physical activity, sensory play, and meaningful daily tasks to help children build skills in a way that feels safe, playful, and motivating. With training in Sensory Integration, Trauma-Informed Practice, and the DIR Floortime approach, she is committed to providing neuroaffirming, developmentally supportive therapy that honours each child’s individuality.

Sarah's Strengths

At Progress Pathways, we believe in leveraging our team members' strengths. Each team member completes a CliftonStrengths analysis within their first week on our team.

Sarah’s strengths reflect her natural ability to build trust, stay calm under pressure, and create warm, predictable environments where children feel safe to try new things. She approaches her work with steady compassion and thoughtful observation, taking the time to understand a child’s underlying needs before choosing the right therapy activities. Families value her gentle communication style and her ability to explain developmental concepts clearly and without overwhelm.

She brings a practical, organised mindset to her therapy sessions, ensuring activities are purposeful and aligned with each child’s goals. Sarah enjoys planning sessions that use a child’s interests as a motivator—from sensory play to movement-based tasks—helping them stay engaged while building important life skills. Her reflective nature supports strong problem-solving, allowing her to adapt strategies when children need a different approach or extra support.

Sarah’s steady presence, kindness, and commitment to growth make her a valued part of the Progress Pathways Burleigh Heads team and a reassuring support for families navigating their child’s development.
